As the oldest city in Western Canada and the first capital of British Columbia, New Westminster has a long and rich history. In 2009, we are celebrating our 150th anniversary and we invite you to join us as we Celebrate our Past, and Embrace the Future!

Throughout the year a variety of community events and activities to celebrate our 150th will take place in the Royal City. In partnership with local community organizations we want to showcase our amazing city and the people that live here.
